Rohain Cornelius, Director
Rohain graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1993 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Since then, Rohain has acquired 18 years experience in design, procurement, construction and installation management of subsea pipelines, umbilicals, submarine power cables and associated facilities for the offshore oil and gas industry.
Rohain has worked for J P Kenny, Technip, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Clough Offshore, Chevron, Woodside and Saipem. He has worked on Projects on the North West Shelf of Australia, Timor Sea, India, Gulf of Thailand and Korea. Recent experience includes Package Lead for the subsea umbilicals transportation, installation and trenching on the Gorgon Project and Woodside's Package Manager for the procurement, transportation and installation of the Angel Gas Project subsea umbilicals and subsea power and communications cable.
Jason Christie, Director
Originally graduating from Strathclyde University in Scotland with a BEng(Hons) in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, Jason Christie has 20 years experience in the offshore industry ranging from design (involving advanced numerical analyses) through to field supervision of construction and installation operations for fixed and floating platforms, in addition to submarine pipelines and subsea production facilities.
Jason's experience has included work on projects in the UK and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea in deep water floating developments West of Shetlands, and in Nigeria where he gained some 18 months of construction site experience.
His technical experience includes mooring analysis, floating production system modelling (diffraction and motion analysis), subsea installation analysis (including pipelay and diverless installation activities) and site supervision of these oil field construction operations.
Jason's recent experience in Australia has focused on subsea rigid and flexible tie-in systems and S, J and reeled rigid pipelay installation as well as diverless installation activities in both shallow and deep water, for a variety of clients including installation contractors and oil majors.
Reuben Sunderland, Director
Reuben is a Chartered Engineer with over twelve years of experience in subsea and pipelines engineering.
Reuben's academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Maritime Civil Engineering, both of which were attained at the University of Liverpool in the UK. After a number of years in the industry, he became a Chartered Member of the Institute of Maritime Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST).
Reuben's career began with Kellogg Brown and Root in the UK and he has since worked with Kvaerner (in the UK), SNC-Lavalin (in Canada and the UK) and J P Kenny (in Australia).
Reuben has worked on numerous projects in various parts of the world, including, Atlantic Canada, Australia, the Gulf of Mexico, the Caspian Sea, the North Sea, the Persian Gulf and West Africa. He has worked with a range of project operators, including: Apache, BP, BHP-Billiton, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Norsk-Hydro, PEDCO, PEMEX, Santos, Shell and Woodside Energy.
David Sartor, Director
David has 18 years experience in both the mining and oil and gas sectors. David graduated from the University of Queensland in 1992 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree.
David spent 4 years in the mining industry working for Merz Australia and Mount Isa Mines Ltd in Mount Isa Queensland after which he moved to Sinclair Knight Merz in Perth.
David joined the oil and gas industry in 1996 gaining experience in topside design and subsea infrastructure design and installation. He has worked for Transfield Worley, Coflexip Stenna Offshore (now Technip), JP Kenny Ltd and Saipem on projects for Woodside, Apache, Chevron Texaco, BHP-Billiton to name a few, with postings in Australia, Singapore and Houston. He currently specialises in design management, manufacture and installation of subsea systems.
David has been self-employed for almost 14 years.
Christian Chaplin, General Manager
Christian Chaplin joined ASEEDA in 2010, bringing with him over 16 years of international recruitment experience, 7 years of which were gained in Australia.
Christian prides himself on delivering a personal and dedicated service based on the principles of honesty, trust and respect at all times. Christian believes that recruitment consultancies should evolve by building mutually trusting relationships with candidates and clients alike.
Christian's main role is to ensure that Client's are made aware of the latest talent available on the market and to ensure that associated members of ASEEDA are made aware of the latest opportunities that become available in the market place.
Christian's recruitment experience has benefited from working in the following types of companies: Engineering Consultancies, Mining companies, Executive recruitment consultancies, head hunting companies, recruitment to recruitment companies, White and Blue collar companies.
Brad Hassell, Lead Oil & Gas Recruitment Consultant
Brad Hassell joined ASEEDA in January 2012 as a Lead Oil & Gas Recruitment Consultant. Brad has been in the recruitment industry in Perth for the past 5 years.
Brad has a passion for the Oil & Gas industry and has a genuine interest in understanding the people and the projects. His philosophy is right job for the right project, and has a strong belief in consulting with candidates who are not only looking for the next position, but about how to achieve their career goals. Brad builds close ties with like minded companies to install a more holistic approach to recruitment, and to secure the top talent for the projects they are working on.
In his recruitment career, Brad has been fortunate to work with some of the worlds biggest companies, as well as smaller consultancies and understands the importance of having the right personality fit for diverse working environments.
Constantina Lee, HR/Recruitment Consultant
Constantina holds a double degree in Communication Studies and Asian Studies from Murdoch University as well as a MBA from Curtin University, specialising in HR and Contract Management. She has over 12 years' experience in recruitment and HR, with the majority spent in the engineering, oil & gas industry.
Constantina specialises in providing generalist HR advice and senior level recruitment services. She previously managed a client group of over 130 employees as the HR Manager for a multinational energy company and has worked for a Big 4 Consultancy firm providing HR and Recruitment advice/services to government and private sector clients.
Karen Harris, Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Karen (KB) joined ASEEDA in 2011 as recruitment consultant and general office administrator. Bright & Bubbly is the best way to describe Karen. She meets and greets everyone both on the phone and in our reception with a smile and happy demeanour. She has not only learnt the company process regarding recruitment, she has improved the procedures and processes along the way. She is highly organised and solves issues quickly and without fuss. Karen enjoys travel, going to the gym (personal training), playing netball and socialising with friends as often as possible.
Michelle Pelliccione, Accounts
Michelle has been working within the Engineering Industry for over eleven years and within this time has held various roles, such as: Project Secretary, Documental Controller, Personal Assistant Managers, Receptionist and Accounts Payable/Receivable.
Michelle joined ASEEDA in 2006, principally to assist with bookkeeping, and has been an integral part of the team ever since.
Michelle is accountable, personable and has an attention to detail; all important traits for her role.
